It’s powered by two updated Cat C32B engines, delivering even greater performance and reliability without sacrificing fuel efficiency. Its heavy-duty undercarriage provides long life in tough conditions, reducing costs and keeping your machine hard at work.
A brand-new, state-of-the-art cab gives operators better control of the machine while keeping them safe and comfortable all shift long. Our patented three-seat design makes training and observing new operators easier than ever. And new safety features help everyone working in, on or around the 6040 get home safely every day.
SAFETY
- Safer access and egress with 45-degree, hydraulically operated access stairway that remains operational even when machine engines shut off. Emergency egress ladder located near the cab.

- Single-line grease system pairs with fixed-pin architecture to simplify grease distribution and speed up troubleshooting.
