Account Manager - Mining Sales

This is an exciting opportunity, based out of any of our Victorian branches, for an Account Manager - Mining Sales. Reporting to the Equipment Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for developing, managing and executing our Mining business operations across Victoria.


As the Account Manager - Mining Sales at William Adams, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts and expanding our market presence across the mining sector throughout Victoria.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales performance and market insights to senior management.


You are a driven and motivated Sales person who thrives on building long term relationships and achieving targets.

You will bring your sound knowledge of the heavy machinery industry, along with an understanding of the product support space and the mining market in which William Adams operates in.

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Proven track record of success in equipment sales, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
