TRS20 Tiltrotator: 649-3798
Cat® Tiltrotators help you get the job done faster with the quality you expect from Cat products. Integrated to your excavator, Tiltrotators are productive, easy-to-use, and add value to your operation. Tiltrotators are a versatile solution providing enhancements to your operation.
Enhanced Versatility
- Simultaneous 360° rotation plus up to 40° left and right tilt adds capability to fixed attachments
- Mixed configurations enable use of a wide range of fabricated and hydraulic attachments to fit your needs
- Ability to covert standard S coupler to hydraulic connect S coupler
- Perform a large variety of tasks, such as digging, grading, compacting, etc. with more precise movements without repositioning the machine
- Use grapple module without removing bottom attachment
Easy Operation
- Fully integrated solution helps reduce installation time and imrpove durability of attachment
- Innovative control system, including full tiltrotator controls and positioning system, can be controlled through the in-cab monitor
- The GS520 Tilt sensor, included with a standard protected mounting location, enables precise tilt position feedback to the grading system
- SecureLock™ uses sensor technology inside the locking cylinder to verify the tool is correctly connected and securely locked to reduce the risk of swinging or dropping tools
Increased Efficiency
- Pressure compensated hydraulics maintain stable rotation speed for smooth and consistent operation
- High-flow hydraulic performance up to 200L/min flow at 250 bar for use with high-flow attachments
- Lubrication System has one grease point, which can be connected with machine's auto-grease system
- Oil-filled gear box keeps gears constantly lubricated, extending the life of the rotor
- Large diameter steel hoses help reduce back pressure, extend lifespan, and simplify maintenance
Prioritized Safety
- Curl to Unlock technology verifies the operator has the coupler or tiltrotator curled in the correct position before it is allowed to unlock during the process of switching attachments. This helps keep your attachments secure while working and connected to the coupler during the uncoupling process.
- Visual verification indicator allows the operator to visibly confirm from the cab, that the coupler has successfully locked the attachment in place.
- Grapple module is faster and safer than people manually moving heavy objects
- Operator stays in cab while switching attachments
- Hydraulic quick connect does not require manual hose change
- Double acting tilt cylinders have built-in load holding valves in the event of pressure loss
- By reducing the need for machine repositioning, tiltrotators help keep the excavator stable and improve job site safety. Operators can also work in tight spaces with fewer movements, helping to reduce the risk of accidents
Configuration Options
- Meet your usage and attachment interface needs with a variety of top and bottom configuration options for your tiltrotator depending on your preferred coupler system.
- Tiltrotators with a pin-on top are ideal when the tiltrotator is used regularly and compatible attachments are switched out on the bottom side.
- Options with a specific coupler interface on top are used with a standard coupler so the tiltrotator can be detached and larger or higher flow requirement attachments can be used with the standard coupler.
- Specific coupler interfaces may require attachments or brackets for attachments with that interface.
- The following are the current available interfaces for tiltrotators:
- Pin-on
- S Type
- Hydraulic Connecting S Type
Boost Efficiency and Productivity with Integrated Technologies
- Never waste time looking for your attachments again. Cat asset tracking is available on select attachments.
- Track your entire fleet of attachments and machines from one source. Attachments with asset tracking can be viewed within VisionLink® alongside Product Link™ subscribed equipment.
- Keep your assets secure. Attachments with an asset tracker send an alert if they leave an easy-to-setup site boundary.
