This Cat® C18 engine variant equipped with a serial twin turbocharged-aftercooled system is capable of achieving power between 563-597 kW (755-800 hp) @ 1800 rpm while meeting EU Stage V emission standards.
High Power Density
C18 engines with series-turbocharged ratings above 560 kW (755 hp) have excellent power density that utilize a compact, single-can diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) aftertreatment system. The DOC is a maintenance-free, passive aftertreatment solution that eliminates the need for thermal management.
