CAT SERVICES COMMITMENT WITH CVA
PARTS AVAILABILITY:
For eligible construction industry customers with machines enrolled with a WillCare Customer Value Agreement (CVA), William Adams offers a Services Commitment Program* to guarantee the availability of your genuine Caterpillar parts. As part of our services commitment with a CVA, your maintenance and common repair parts will be available when you need them. If they’re not, William Adams will help cover the costs by crediting you up to $1,000.
- Maintenance Parts: If you need a maintenance part as soon as the end of the next business day, or by your nominated need by date whichever is the later, and we can’t make it available for pick up, you will receive a prepaid credit for the value of the part up to $1,000.
- Repair Parts: For customers with a WillCare Advantage or WillCare Ultimate CVA that includes William Adams performed services, if you need a repair part as soon as the end of the second business day, or by your nominated need by date whichever is the later, and we can’t make it available for pick up, you will receive a prepaid credit for the value of the part up to $1,000.
SERVICE RESPONSE:
For eligible customers enrolled in a WillCare Ultimate CVA that includes William Adams performed repair services, the Services Commitment Program includes a Service Response Time commitment that ensures you get priority technician scheduling.
- For a scheduled PM service, we will start work by your confirmed promise date.
- For a breakdown or repair call, we will provide a technician no later than by the end of the 2nd business day from your call or by your need by date, whichever is later.
If we don’t meet our service response time commitment, you will receive a work order credit of 1 hour of technician labour.
*Services Commitment Program is only for eligible construction industry customers with a new or renewed CVA as of 1 November 2024 and covers eligible Caterpillar machine models manufactured fifteen years or less before being enrolled in a CVA. Credit voucher amount is in Australian dollars. Additional exclusions, terms, and conditions apply. For a machine to be eligible for the Services Commitment Program you must be a construction industry customer and enrolled an eligible machine in a WillCare CVA on or after 1 November 2024.
Eligible Cat machine models are machines manufactured fifteen years or less before the new or renewed CVA contract start date, within the following product families:

- Backhoe Loaders
- Compact Loaders
- Dozers (Small & Medium)
- Hydraulic Excavators
- Landfill Compactors
- Mini Excavators
- Motor Graders (up to 140)
- Multi-Terrain Loaders
- Off-Highway Trucks (up to 775)
- Paving Equipment and Compactors
- Pipelayers
- Skid Steers
- Soil Compactors
- Telehandlers
- Track Type Loaders
- Wheel Dozers (up to 834)
- Wheel Loaders (up to 990)
- Wheel Track Scrapers
- Wheeled Excavators
For Planned Maintenance (PM) parts-only WillCare Convenience CVAs on eligible machines, maintenance parts such as filters and vee belts typically used for planned maintenance are covered. Fluids and PM parts kits are excluded.
For parts and labour WillCare Advantage and WillCare Ultimate CVAs with William Adams labour on eligible machines, both maintenance and repair parts are covered. Fluids and PM parts kits are excluded.
Repair parts are Cat® parts falling into categories considered to be used for wear replacement and repairs critical to keep the machine running. Excludes parts most often used in planned replacement/overhaul and non-mechanical items.
The following Cat parts will be considered excluded from the Services Commitment Program:
- Cat parts constrained due to supplier chronic constraints or transportation interruptions outside of William Adams or Caterpillar’s control.
- Cat parts orders in Excessive or Bulk Orders (i.e. where the quantity ordered of a part exceeds the quantity needed to perform any repair or maintenance on the machine).
- Cat parts considered by Caterpillar as Made as Ordered Items.
- Cat parts covered by warranty or an Extended Protection Plan.
5. Discontinued Cat parts.
William Adams will identify and report the miss to Caterpillar. Caterpillar will then issue a Cat Credit voucher directly to you via email.

The Service Response commitment is only offered with WillCare Ultimate CVAs where repair labour is included as part of the CVA. An Uptime Commitment applies only to machines with an active WillCare 335 Advantage CVA where to customer has also purchased a Premier Equipment Protection Plan for the machine at the point of sale. These service-related commitments are different, are not offered together, and cannot be claimed on the same asset.
