Senior Services Coordinator

Permanent Full time position

About the role

 

Are you a Service Coordinator ready to take the next step in your career?

We are seeking a dedicated and driven individual who is passionate about making a meaningful impact and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

In this role, you will work closely with the Team Leader of Service Coordination to support the day-to-day operations, including rostering and team communication.

 

You will also act as a key point of contact in the Team Leader’s absence, providing timely support to both staff and clients as required.

 

This opportunity is ideal for someone who demonstrates initiative, excellent organisational skills, and strong, proactive communication.


 Some of the main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Provide mentoring and day to day management to Service Coordinators, and undertake regular staff supervision meetings and documentation
  • Support career development reviews and performance management of Service Coordinators
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and accountability
  • Manage and support the rostering team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and responsiveness to service demands.
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach to MiCare service delivery and program development
  • Assist in the development of workforce planning
  • Monitor and respond to roster gaps, cancellations, and emergencies in a proactive and client-focused manner

 

Qualifications 

  • Certificate IV or above in Aged Care, Community Services, Business Administration or Leadership preferred but not essential

 

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in rostering/scheduling within aged care, community care or similar environment
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring a small team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Sound knowledge of relevant aged care legislation, standards, and workforce awards.
  • Proficiency in client and rostering systems (e.g., AlayaCare,).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to speak multiple languages highly desirable.
