What is the Role?
The School has an exemplary Performing Arts program, which includes innovative curriculum music supporting a diverse and extensive co-curricular music program. The current available roles are peripatetic music tutor – independent contractor roles – providing exceptional music tuition to students in individual lessons, as requested by parents.
Who will the successful applicant be?
- Recent experience in teaching Saxophone to students K-12
- Passion and enthusiasm for music, including a heart for encouraging students of all abilities
- Knowledge of recent developments in the theory and practice of music pedagogy and specifically how this applies to teaching Saxophone
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the Performing Arts team
- Confidence in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance communication and learning
- An understanding of and support of the School’s Christian mission, values and ethos
