Rostering Officer (Community)
At Bene, we care about our clients, our community, and our team. We are a not-for-profit aged care provider who supports older South Australians to live life on their terms. We also believe work should feel meaningful and enjoyable (yes, even rostering!).

We're on the lookout for a sharp-minded Rostering Officer to help piece together the perfect schedule for our care team. Think of it as becoming our resident calendar whisperer, connecting the right worker to the right client at the right time.
This role is part-time (0.6 FTE), with flexibility to grow for the right person. If you love turning chaos into order and want to work somewhere where your efforts make a real difference, KEEP reading.
Your Day Might Include...
- Juggling shifting availability and last-minute changes like a scheduling ninja
- Collaborating with our case managers and support team to make sure clients get the care they need
- Using rostering software to build, tweak, and optimise staff rosters
- Problem-solving when things don’t go to plan (hello, flu season)
- Helping us transition into the new Support at Home model with confidence and clarity
You Might Be Our Kind of Person If You...
- Have rostering, scheduling, or admin experience (especially in aged care, NDIS or community services)
- Thrive in organised chaos and secretly enjoy bringing order to complex schedules
- Are friendly, calm under pressure, and great with people
- Know your way around rostering platforms and Microsoft Office (Knowledge of Alayacare would be an advantage)
- Are a proactive communicator and a team player who knows when to escalate and when to fix it yourself
Why Bene?
- Salary packaging – more money in your pocket
- Supportive team that values what you bring to the table
- Real work-life balance (we walk the talk)
