Australian Green Clean (Commercial) Pty Ltd is a company specialising in environmentally friendly cleaning & waste services. Our services include education, commercial and event cleaning and waste solutions. Our company is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team. The Recruitment Consultant will work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop job descriptions, and ensure the selection of qualified candidates who align with the company’s values and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and manage the advertising of job vacancies through online platforms, social media, recruitment agencies, and print media. This includes crafting job descriptions, selecting appropriate advertising channels, and ensuring ads reach suitable candidates.
- Handle the whole recruitment process, including screening applications, conducting interviews, administering relevant skills or aptitude tests, and shortlisting candidates in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring they are regularly updated in both physical files and digital Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Guide senior management on employment policies, staff performance reviews, workplace conduct, and disciplinary procedures in compliance with relevant labour laws.
- Coordinate and deliver onboarding sessions for new employees, informing them about company policies, salary structures, work culture, and available career growth opportunities.
- Collect detailed information on new job openings, including job titles, responsibilities, wage structures, and employment conditions, ensuring this data is accurately recorded for internal use.
- Act as a liaison between employers and prospective employees by sharing up-to-date job listings, application guidelines, and company information with job seekers.
- Engage in discussions with employees and management to negotiate employment conditions, resolve workplace disputes, and address grievances fairly and on time.
- Stay updated with changes in labour laws, awards, and industrial agreements to ensure that employment practices are legally compliant and in line with industry standards.
- Design and roll out workplace programs such as enterprise agreements, collective bargaining strategies, and wage adjustment procedures that align with organizational goals.
- Facilitate creating and managing employee committees and engagement programs, encouraging active participation in workplace decisions and fostering a positive work environment.
- Assist in implementing organizational changes, such as restructuring or policy updates, and promote initiatives that support staff welfare, work-life balance, and a healthy workplace culture.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of Master’s Degree with specialization in Human Resource Management
- Minimum of one year of highly relevant work experience
- Strong time management skills and working efficiently within a team are necessary
- Applicants must be committed to work permanently, full-time, 38 hours per week.
