About the Role

Jones Radiology are seeking a patient-focused professional to join our dedicated Nuclear Medicine team. With options for full-time or part-time work, this role presents an exciting opportunity to perform a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a supportive, patient focused environment. The position is based across Jones Radiology’s central clinics including Calvary Adelaide Hospital, St Andrew’s Hospital, Tennyson Centre and SAHMRI (Clinical and Research Imaging Centre).

The position will join a dedicated Nuclear Medicine team led by the Chief of Modality, 2IC and site coordinators who will provide continuing professional expert advice and support. Jones Radiology offers an extensive range of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures, a well-established Theranostics program with a strong focus on research and clinical trials. Our sites are all equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a new digital GE Omni PET/CT system.

If successful, you will work Monday to Friday, with shifts between the core hours of 7:00am and 5:30pm. In addition, contribution to a weekend only (9-5pm) On-Call roster is expected, for which you will be compensated accordingly.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform high quality nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Excellent attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel
  • Self-motivated and committed to ongoing professional development
  • Good organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience operating GE and/or Siemens PET/CT systems
  • Experience operating Siemens and/or GE SPECT/CT systems

 

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • EPA SA Radiation Licences to use or handle radioactive material and to operate radiation apparatus.
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.
