Metro Field Service Supervisor

We now have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Service Supervisor for our Metro Field team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated leader to join the team as a Service Supervisor.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision and guidance to a team of technicians and coordinators while ensuring customer needs are met through excellent customer service and effective work order management.

This position is great for a ambitious leader with potential career pathways into Service, Branch and Operations Manager positions within the business.

This position will be based between our Clayton and Laverton facilities, working Monday - Friday.

Daily responsibilities will include the following:

  • To safely lead, coach and develop a large and expanding team of field service technicians and coordinators
  • Maintaining a safe work environment with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy and complete with appropriate tooling
  • Ensure satisfaction and value for money for our customers
  • Provide a positive and can do attitude in all things safety
  • Leading by example and being an advocate for our core values of Integrity, Commitment, Teamwork, Excellence and Sustainability.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a true leader, who is ambitious and thrives on motivating and inspiring a team of professionals. You will ideally be a trade qualified Diesel Technician with strong earthmoving industry experience.

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, supervising a high performing team
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with providing guidance and direction with a calm disposition
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks
  • Customer focused attitude with an ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Proven conflict resolution, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated commitment to safety and quality work practices
