Financial Reporting Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager working for a market leader has become available at William Adams.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller this is an extremely critical role within our business and will require a very high standard of technical ability. We invite you to be part of building our company for the future in this position.
You will be responsible for statutory reporting, reconciliations, taxation, audits and internal controls.
What a typical day in this role will look like:
- Responsible for an accurate General Ledger and producing timely financial reports
- Management and control of all banking matters and foreign exchange risks
- Responsible for all tax requirements, ie. Income Tax, GST and Foreign Resident Withholding tax
- Full management and preparation of internal and external audit requirements
- Assistance with budgets and financial analysis
- To comply with all company safety, health, and environment procedures.
ABOUT YOU
Ideally, you will come from a public practice background and be ready to move into a corporate working environment. You will be a very strong technical accountant with a passion for financial reporting and tax. Your high level of experience with financial systems, ideally advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
What key skills, experience & attributes we are looking for:
- Extensive experience in a similar role in a medium to large-sized company or through a mid or top tier accounting firm will be highly regarded
- CPA/CA or equivalent qualified
- A track record of meeting stringent reporting deadlines
- Ability to foster strong professional relationships with people at all levels
- Results orientated and proactively seeking to improve processes
- Safety focused and ability to lead by example.
