  • Monitor infection control, medication management, and resident safety protocols

Resident & Family Engagement

  • Promote a culture of resident dignity, independence, and wellbeing
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents and families, addressing concerns proactively
  • Create a welcoming, home-like environment and inclusive community
  • Organise and support meaningful lifestyle and engagement programs

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive innovation, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practices
  • Lead accreditation readiness and implement action plans for continuous compliance
  • Monitor feedback channels and implement change based on insights

Qualifications, knowledge and requirements required for the role

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Proven experience in a leadership or facility management role within aged care, health, or community services
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, compliance frameworks, and accreditation processes
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience in budgeting, reporting, and occupancy management
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams
