The Mornington Peninsula Shire Council awarded Belgravia Leisure as the management company of their Mornington Peninsula Aquatic & Recreation facilities. 

The aquatic and recreation centre includes several facilities that will benefit many of the local community including 50m indoor pool, warm water program pool, three multi-purpose rooms for health and fitness classes, gym, wellness centre, café, family change rooms, all with a high level of regard to disability access. 

 

Thus, ensuring that Belgravia Leisure continues its purpose and mission of “connecting community to leisure” and in turn providing every member of the community the opportunity to take advantage of this incredible facility. 

 

About the Role 

 

We are seeking to appoint a brand-new position on a Part time basis, 14 hrs per week fixed term contract. There is potential to increase hours per week.   


Reporting directly to the Area Support Manager and supported by our local Marketing Coordinator and the National Belgravia Leisure Marketing Team, the Digital Marketing Support Officer will be a key member of the Mornington Peninsula marketing team. 
 
The Digital Marketing Support Officer will play a vital role supporting the planning, design and delivery of digital marketing and promotional initiatives across Belgravia Leisure Mornington Peninsula’s various platforms. 

 

This position collaborates closely with the local Marketing Coordinator to implement content strategies and execute both national and local marketing activations. The goal is to drive membership growth, enhance member retention and increase digital engagement across all venues, aligning with branding guidelines and achieving set marketing objectives for the following sites. 

Pelican Park Recreation Centre, Hastings 

Civic Reserve Recreation Centre, Mornington 

Somerville Recreation Centre, Somerville 

Yawa Aquatic Centre, Rosebud 

Crib Point Outdoor Pool 

 

Key Responsibilities - Marketing & Content Support 

  • Assist in the rollout of national and local marketing and promotional campaigns in alignment with Belgravia Leisure’s Marketing Action Plan 
  • Support the development and coordination of marketing materials across digital channels including but not limited to social media, websites, eDMs 
  • Maintain and update digital platforms, ensuring website content and social media feeds remain fresh, timely, and on-brand 
  • Assist with copywriting and editing for various communication channels including email marketing, social posts and promotional materials 
  • Help implement and manage content calendars under the direction of the Marketing Coordinator 
  • Contribute to graphic design tasks using templates or design tools and assist with sourcing campaign materials that meet brand guidelines 
  • Provide support during content production, including organising photo and video shoots

Essential qualifications 

  • Work rights in Australia 
  • Diploma or 3+ years’ experience in a similar Communications, Media or related similar role 
  • National Police Check 
  • Working with Children's Check
