O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville, a locally-owned electrical business, is seeking candidates for a Project Administrator. We are looking to fill this position by bringing on a new staff member to join our experienced team. This diverse role includes the scheduling and maintenance of key projects and acts as the key lynch-pin between the office, sales team and on-site techs. Importantly, this role is a great springboard into our fastly growing business with fantastic training and development opportunities available.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
- Efficient management of projects and daily communications
- Be the glue between our on-site and office teams
GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS
- Respond to all inbound calls and inquiries, including the scheduling of jobs
- Allocate materials and tools required for jobs
- Coordinate on-site access for jobs, including the planning and facilitation of work
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reporting
- Ensure all employees and sub-contractor records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Fantastic communication skills
- High level of computer literacy especially with computerised job management systems e.g. MS Office, particularly excel
- Relevant experience in operations and/or administration
- Proven ability to problem solve
