About the Role: Bottle Shop Assistant

We’re on the lookout for a bottle shop superstar to join our friendly team! Whether you're a seasoned bottle-o legend or a hospitality hero with a passion for great service, we’d love to hear from you. Working in a small team and, at times, independently in a busy bottleshop located at the heart of the city. The bottleshop prides itself on building relationships with its customers. The role would be suited to someone confident, extroverted, works well in groups and has a drive and work ethic to be on their own.

• Must be available evenings & weekends for a minimum 10 hours per week

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering next-level service with a smile

• Sharing your knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits with customers

• Upselling like a pro and hitting sales targets

• Keeping our shop looking fresh and well-stocked

• Supporting stocktakes and display setups

• Following RSA and hotel policies like a champ

• Helping out across departments when needed

About You

You’re friendly, switched-on, and love making people’s day. You know your way around a till, take pride in presentation, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get it done. This job can be pretty physical and out in the elements, so applicants need some physical resilience. 

What you’ll need:

• Current RSA + Driver’s Licence

• Hospitality or retail experience (bottle shop experience is a bonus!)

• Top-notch customer service skills

• Strong product knowledge (or willingness to learn fast)

• Confident with stock handling and cash procedures

• A positive, proactive attitude

Bonus points if you have:

• Forklift licence

• First Aid Certificate
