ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Parts Inventory & Procurement Manager, we are looking for an Parts Inventory Analyst to help with the analysing and managing stock levels of branch inventory across the dealership, based at our Clayton Head office Branch.
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular analyses to identify trends and variances.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage lead times and optimize supply chain processes.
- Adjust forecasts based on changes in market conditions and customer requirements.
- Generate regular reports on inventory performance, stock levels, turnover rates, and demand forecasts, and recommendations to management to support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
ABOUT YOU
You will ideally have the following skills, experience & attributes:
- Proven experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, or a similar analytical role.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, outlook etc.)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Proven planning and organising ability
- Ability to resolve problems, issues, etc in a practical, timely and professional manner
